Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons precooked bacon bits
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 head cabbage, cored and sliced
1 white onion, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pinch white sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
DIRECTIONS
1. Heat oil in large pot over medium heat. Add bacon bits and cook for a couple of minutes.
2. Add cabbage, onion, salt, pepper, and sugar to pot; cook and stir continuously for 5 minutes or until tender.
3. Add vinegar and toss. Serve immediately.
