Cookies are my preferred treat. Easy to grab and go, or sit and savor with a cup of tea. With the array of colors, flavors, and textures during the holidays it’s hard to narrow it down to just one favorite. But this one is at the top for several reasons. It’s been passed down in the family, it’s super easy to make and requires just one baking pan, and it keeps well.
