The largest summer camp provider in our region, the YMCA of Greater Rochester offers a wide range of experiences at various locations, in an active, safe, and nurturing environment. Financial assistance is always available for those in need.
Day Camps:
Our daily structure provides campers with small and large group activities, swimming, and specialty time. Fridays include a midday celebration closing the week with theme-based programming. We meet and exceed all camper to counselor ratios as designated by the New York State Department of Health. Low camper to counselor ratios ensure a personalized and impact experience for every child we serve. Camp Hours – 9am – 4pm. Before care starting as early as 7am and after care as late as 6pm for no additional charge!

Overnight Summer Camps:
The YMCA of Greater Rochester’s Overnight Camps provide unparalleled outdoor experiences for thousands of children, offering a unique opportunity for friendship, achievement, and a strong sense of community. At Overnight Camp, your child will discover new adventures away from the hustle and bustle of busy lives at home. Wonderful connections with each other and with the outdoors are naturally fostered at beautiful Camp Cory and Camp Gorham.
Adventure and Specialty Camps (Ages 5-16)
Adventure and Specialty Camps are designed to give campers a chance to focus on their favorite hobby or explore new activities. Enjoy camps such as sailing, water skiing, golf, horseback riding, mountain biking, archery, arts and crafts, and more. Campers spend a large portion of each day focusing on their specialty program, and spend the remaining time on traditional Summer Power activities such as swimming, games, and theme-based events.

Preschool Summer Camp (Ages 2-5)
Preschool Summer Camp provides full day and half day options to experience traditional camp activities in a safe, age appropriate setting for the youngest campers. Many camp activities and special events are introduced to your child each week. Preschoolers will discover the great outdoors, swim, sing camp songs, and make special crafts in a caring and nurturing environment.
