My daughter Jenny’s grandmother lovingly made this recipe for Christmas and Easter. Now I’ve been making them with her son–my grandson, Ethan, since he was three years old. He loves to hear stories about his great-grandmother while he rolls the balls. When young we used the process to learn counting. Now as a nine-year-old, he practices multiplying to find out how many candies we’ve made. When his mom and I are done dipping, Ethan’s the first to taste. The look on his face is worth the time spent to make these delectable treats.
