Fireworks
- Penfield: The first firework display of the weekend! The display will take place at Harris Whalen Park on Penfield Road and is set to start at 10 p.m. The best spot to watch the fireworks are inside the park, but the shopping plazas surrounding the park work just as well. After the display, a community party will continue inside the park.
- Watkins Glen: Fireworks will start at 9:45 p.m. at Clute Memorial Park, which is at the south end of Seneca Lake.
Monday July 3
- Annual Ring of Fire at Conesus Lake: Starting at 10 p.m., residents along the shoreline of Conesus Lake will light flares creating a Ring of Fire which will be accompanied by a professional firework display. The best places to view this display include Vitale Park, Long Point Park and Long Point Road. The Conesus Lake Association sponsors the event.
- Honeoye Lake Ring of Fire: A ring of fire will light up Honeoye Lake and will be accompanied by a fireworks display at Sandy Bottom. The show starts at dusk.
- Farmington: The Town Park in Farmington will display fireworks at dusk. Music and food start off the celebration at 7 p.m.
- Olcott Beach: See the firework display over Lake Ontario! The show starts at 10 p.m. and can be seen from the West Pier of Olcott Beach.
- Ithaca: A firework display will happen at dark at Stewart Park in Ithaca. Before that, there will be live music, activities and food.
- Sodus Point: This year, Sodus Point’s firework display has been postponed to September 2, 2017 due to flooding in the area. A Themed Kiddie Costume Parade will still take place at 10 a.m. at the fire department on Bay Street.
Tuesday July 4
- Batavia: Firework display starts at dusk at Dwyer Stadium on Bank St. During the day, a Kiddie Parade and Picnic in the Park will also take place.
- Irondequoit: Fireworks behind the Town Hall, Tuesday, starting around 9:30 p.m. The best spot to watch is Titus Ave, Kings Highway South, Saint Kateri School and the Irondequoit Town Hall lawn.
- Rochester: There are two spots that will display fireworks in the city this year! Over the Genesee River, fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. and will be best viewed from the Main, Court and Broad Street Bridges. The Rochester Red Wings will also put on a display directly following the game that begins at 7:05 p.m.
- Greece: Firework display will begin at dusk and will occur at the Town Hall on Vince Tofany Boulevard. The best places to view the show include: The Town Hall lawn, Long Pond and Latta shopping plazas and Long Pond Road. Shuttles will be included from Greece Athena High School to these places throughout the night because parking at these locations is not permitted. The display concludes a day full of activities that make up the Greece Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration.

- Town of Henrietta: At 9:40 p.m., fireworks will be set off at the Veteran’s Memorial Park. The display concludes a day-long celebration and craft sale.
- Brighton: Fireworks by Young Explosives will begin at 9:50 p.m. at Meridian Centre Park. They will also be viewable from Buckland Park. These fireworks conclude a day full of activities including music, food and a petting zoo.
- Canandaigua: Firework display is set to start at 9:45 p.m. at Kershaw Park. A parade and community activities during the day front the display.
- Lima: The Village and Town of Lima will provide fireworks at Mark Tubbs Park. The display is set to start at 9:45 p.m.
- Chili: The firework display is the grand finale of the Chil-E Fest and Parade at the Chili Town Hall. Fireworks will happen at 10 p.m.
Friday July 7th
- SUNY Geneseo: At 8:30 p.m. on the Saratoga Field, the RPO will perform. Concluding the performance, a fireworks display will occur!
