The Lehigh Valley Railroad Historical Society Station Museum is housed inside a wooden New York Central Railroad freight station located along the old “Auburn Road” line in Shortsville, New York. The freight station was built around 1900 and was used as a church and a machine shop before the Society purchased it in October 2001.
See trains and train accessories dating back to the 1800’s. Learn about the history of the region and the many train functions and travel routes. Get a better understanding of the interiors as well as exteriors of trains, the timeline of train lines and the merging and folding of certain lines.
