Women’s Hall of Fame
Encourage your kids to do their best in life, be good to others, and help their community and country by example. Visit the National Women’s Hall of Fame and show them the inspiring stories of women featured in the hall—inductees dating back to the 1800s all the way to present day. This is truly a tribute to brave, strong, smart and compassionate women.
Help your kids learn about the history of this nation through viewing the work of many inductees. Every generation has at least one pioneer (usually several) for those who follow to stand on their shoulders and continue the work they have started. When your kids view this hall they will better understand what that means and how many inductees paved the way for the freedom and honors we have today.
Accomplishments among the women fall under varied categories and fields including athletics, science, government, the humanities, arts, business, education and more!
History classes teach us of the many famed men and women in our country. This national tribute goes out to women in particular.
Talk about what your kids wants to accomplish in life by having them fill in the bland of “When I grow up I want to….”
