Museum of the Earth
Learn what the Earth was like a million years ago! The Museum of the Earth provides an opportunity for scientists, science enthusiasts, families, and their children to learn about Earth in a fun and engaging way. There is always an exciting array of permanent and temporary exhibits to discover and a variety of rotating events to attend each month.
Enjoy the public tours of the museum’s permanent exhibition gallery and take a trip back in time. Learn about the changing sea levels, shifting continents and mass extinctions that shaped the world as we know it today. Join a special guided tour of the exhibits and journey through Earth’s exciting history.
If fossils are your thing, join in every second Saturday of the month and learn about brachiopods to trilobites and even funny looking rocks. The staff will help you identify them. You can even bring them your most puzzling finds for identification.
