Get scientific this summer at the Sciencenter! The Sciencenter inspires excitement for science through interactive exhibits and programs that engage, educate and empower. This non-profit, hands-on museum offers guests of all ages more than 250 exhibits, educational programs, and seasonal outdoor science playground and mini-golf course.
Get ready to climb, splash, think, build, and bounce your way through many exhibit galleries filled with full-body science fun. From astronomy to zoology, the Sciencenter offers something special for guests of any age.Think of a category you and your kids are most interested in and find hands-on fun for each. Whether it is health and wellness, the ocean, live animals, outdoor, astronomy, early education, the planets, sustainability or being a young scientist — you’ll find it all! Explore the human body, learn about animal habitats from around the world or take the walking scale model of our solar system starting at the center of downtown Ithaca. The Reinvention Station encourages guests to reduce waste whenever possible and provides information about local reuse, recycling and disposal facilities.
The Sciencenter offers numerous programs for kids of all ages. From preschool storytime to interactive presentations and family fun activities for all ages—the Sciencenter has unique indoor and outdoor fun.
