Now in its fifth year, Rochester VegFest brings plant-based food, local makers, and community voices together for a day of connection and celebration in the heart of downtown.
This free outdoor festival features a full lineup of speakers, live cooking demos, local vendors, music, movement, and activities for all ages.
Guest speakers include Dr. Jim Loomis, Dr. Thomas M. Campbell II, and animal advocate Adam Durand, offering insights on food, health, and advocacy.
Cooking demonstrations from Caryn Dugan, Ryan Jennings, and Anthony Miller will showcase simple, flavorful plant-based meals.
Attendees can shop a curated vegan marketplace, enjoy live sets from Sage Bava and ROB.DOE, and take part in a morning yoga session led by Jennifer Arena.
New this year is the Rochester Vegan Entrepreneurs Panel, moderated by Ryan Jennings (Sweet Pea Chef and Shelling Peas podcast host), featuring Natasha Siplin of Soulistic Sweets, Rob Nipe of Grass Fed Vegan Butcher, and Janessa Steenberg of Panacheeza.
Rochester VegFest is organized by volunteers and powered by local support. Vendors, sponsors, and volunteers can learn more and sign up at rocvegfestny.org.
Join us Sunday, August 24 at Parcel 5 for a fun, welcoming day celebrating plant-based living and the local community bringing it to life.
