The Park Avenue Holiday Open house has become a beloved tradition in our community, bringing neighbors, friends and family together to celebrate the holiday season. The event offers something for everyone, from festive decorations to delicious treats and specials offered by the diverse restaurants and eateries on the avenue.
This year’s highlight’s include:
Tree and Menorah Lighting: Witness the magic of the season as we illuminate Park Avenue with the annual Tree and Menorah lighting ceremony kicked off by Rochester Mayor Malik Evans. Watch the annual holiday ice sculpture unfold as the sound of carolers fill the air. The Rochester Fire Department will also be on hand with a fire truck for little ones to explore.
Meet and Greet with Santa: Santa Claus will be making a special appearance at the event in our Santa Tent located at the Park Avenue Green (corner of Park Avenue and Barrington Street). Bring your children to have their photos taken with the man in red!
Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides:
Meet at the RMSC Park (270 Park Avenue) at to hop on for magical trip along the avenue. Meet your favorite local sport mascots along the way and immerse yourself in the spirit of the holidays!
Early Holiday Shopping: Start your holiday shopping early and discover the perfect gifts for your loved ones while exploring the charming shops along Park Avenue. The local merchants will be offering unique, handcrafted, and one-of-a-kind items that are sure to make your holiday shopping a breeze.
Restaurant and Pub Specials
Relax and enjoy time with friends and family at one of the many food and drink establishments along the avenue. Enjoy hot roasted chestnuts and indulge in local food specialties and libations along the way.
