The Lewis Street YMCA Neighborhood Center is proud to host its 4th annual Lockdown on Violence, an event designed to unite and uplift the Marketview Heights neighborhood. This initiative aims to create a safe, supportive space for community members to connect, engage and build meaningful relationships with local law enforcement.
Expect a laid-back atmosphere with games, activities and plenty of good company — perfect for families, friends and neighbors to connect and bond over a backyard BBQ! There will be a chance to explore essential resources available to families and the community, as well.
Local law enforcement, including members of the Rochester Police Department, New York State Troopers and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, will join in the fun alongside our youth and community to help build trust and strengthen community bonds.
Family-friendly activities such as bounce houses, inflatables and entertainment will be provided, ensuring a safe, structured space for children to play, unwind and stay active.
