Join printmaker, Barbara McPhail for this workshop specifically intended for 6-12 grade art teachers. Linocut can have an expressive quality or be used for patterning. This workshop will lend opportunity for black and white, and color printing, using waterbased inks, while practicing the art of inking, and methods of cutting. Participants will learn to make small editions and also print in a one-of-a-kind unique way. This workshop is presented in partnership with The Print Club of Rochester.
Barbara McPhail is a lifelong printmaker and art educator, and a board member of The Print Club of Rochester. Her work is in private and public collections, most notably, the Library of Congress.
