Join Artist Elaine Liberio for a workshop dedicated to fruits and flowers! This is a fun, exploratory class that is at your own pace with no experience needed. Your mixed media project will include collage, painting (with oil wash), and other techniques.
This workshop aligns with our Main Gallery exhibition theme, “Layered Processes,” which will run from July 25 through August 29. In the middle of this workshop (when your work is drying), our Gallery Curator will provide a brief overview of the exhibition, walking the class through the exhibition, and offering a few key observational cues that can be used during the session.
All supplies will be provided, but if you would like to bring any materials that are fruit- or flower-themed for use in your collage, you may certainly do so.
This class is taught supportively and in a judgement-free zone. Exploration is encouraged. Attendees can complete one or more works, depending on each individual’s pace and class goals. This is a nice way to spend a late afternoon with family and friends . . . or attend solo and meet new, creative people!
Our space is accessible with an automatic door opener, elevator, and accessible restrooms for convenience. If an attendee has specific requirements, please contact us ahead of time so that we can do our best to accommodate specific needs or requests.
