“Plein Air” is a French phrase that means “outdoors.” Artists choose a location, set up an easel, and create a work of art while light is changing constantly. For the sixth year, Main Street Arts will host this exhibition, which in 2026 features the work of forty-five artists. Each artist submitted a painting they previously created en plein air as well as a painting created the morning of the exhibition opening on Saturday, September 12. Most pieces of art will be for sale, which directly benefits the artists.
Admission is FREE (though donations are always gratefully accepted).
