Amy Azzara is a vocalist, songwriter, and educator, raised in a musical family in Rochester, NY, and now based in New York City. Azzara’s originals are influenced by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Jason Robert Brown, and Yebba/James Francies, as well as the American Songbook. Amy enjoys recording and background vocal work, band-leading, and is excited to sing in the New York Vocal Collective this fall. Amy is thrilled to debut original music that is not yet released at Lovin’ Cup, and to make music alongside Emma.
Emma Hedrick is a vocalist, composer and bandleader from Indianapolis currently based in Rochester, NY. This show is part of her “Newcomer” album release tour and will feature songs off the album. Written during her formative time as a student in the Netherlands and Miami, this soulful collection of contemporary jazz is a musical scrapbook that blends modernity and tradition. Known for both voice and composition, she was a Semi-Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition, was recently awarded a 2025 New Works Commission and has performed at venues and festivals nationally and in Europe.
