Join Artist Joyce Martelli as she merges nature and art through branch weaving. Joyce will carefully select and provide an array of unique branches and teach both 2-D and 3-D arrangements, depending on an attendee’s project goals. This is a judgement-free & supportive space with a passionate and enthusiastic instructor. An awesome way to start summer, so bring a friend or two–or attend solo and meet other creatives.
Class will have access to the 2,000 volume Art Resource Library in the space adjacent to the classroom. There are many wonderful reference books on weaving, sculpture, nature and art, and more which attendees may reference during class and use as inspiration.
All tools & materials are provided; however, if attendees wish to bring their own branches, yarns, or other supplies, they may do so.
