Springdale Farm, located in Ogden, New York, is operated by Heritage Christian Services and owned by Monroe County. Springdale Farm is a premiere agricultural education facility open to the public, and serves as a day program site for adults with developmental disabilities, who care for the plants and animals, maintain the beautiful farm grounds and welcome over 40,000 visitors each year.
In addition to school tours, Springdale Farm also serves as a popular community facility for family activities and outdoor recreation with its nature trails, duck pond and many farm festivals. Heritage Christian is grateful to operate a flourishing fresh-air site like Springdale Farm and strives to provide family-oriented activities throughout the year.
Springdale Farm has a 13,000 square-foot Dairy Barn and a 9,500 square-foot Visitor Education Center. The Dairy Barn is home to 60 cows and is the first public farm in the Northeastern United States to feature the Lely Robotic Milking System! This facility, which is operated by Robert Colby of Colby Farms, offers visitors a chance to see modern-day farming techniques in action. Robotic dairy barn tours are available Monday through Saturday at 11am and 2pm. Cost is $3 for adults (ages 12-62), $2 for youth (ages 3-11) and seniors (ages 63+), and free for kids ages 2 and under. The Visitor Education Center features exhibits, classrooms, a gift shop, and flexible conference space for meetings and receptions.
The petting zoo offers visitors the opportunity to pet friendly barnyard animals including goats, rabbits, lambs, piglets, and American Miniature Horses. The cost for the petting zoo is $1.00 per person.

The farm is open 10am to 4pm Monday – Saturday (enter through Visitor Education Center).
On Sundays, open hours are from noon to 4pm (enter through gate near farm house). Last entrance to farm is 3:30pm
