Ever been inside a cave? What about a human heart? At the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology (commonly abbreviated MOST), visitors can explore these places & more with MOST’s variety of interactive & hands-on science exhibits.
Located in Syracuse, MOST features exhibits that range in subject matter from the human body to outer space. Life Sciences features giant models of the heart and brain, Discovery Cave gives visitors a simulated underground experience, the Science Playhouse has five floors of climbing and activities, and Technotown wows with its giant kinetic sculpture. There’s also the Telecommunications Lab, where visitors can experiment with Morse code or “fly” on the museum’s flight simulator.
In addition to the exhibits, MOST contains the Dr. and Mrs. Herbert J. Silverman Planetarium and the Bristol Omnitheater, a special IMAX Dome theater that reaches six stories tall. Check the website for current titles and times.

Hours of Operation:
The MOST exhibits are open from
10am to 5pm
Wednesday through Sunday.
Extended hours for IMAX movies on Saturday evenings.
The museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
During some school breaks and holidays the museum will be open on Mondays or Tuesdays and that exception to the hours will be posted on the scrolling bar on the main page of the site.
