Lollypop Farm

Get wild with the animals!

With cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, turtles, snakes, llamas, sheep, cows, ducks, and pot-bellied pigs under their roof, Lollypop Farm is a draw for any animal lover. While it’s a popular place for anyone looking to add a furry member to their family, Lollypop also provides many programs and attractions in addition to its adoption services.

Visitors are free to explore the grounds during hours of operation, enjoy lunch under the outdoor pavilion, and visit the cats, dogs, and small animals housed in the shelter. Venture outside to check out the barn and petting area. End your visit with a look around the Adoption Center. If you’ve come hoping to bring home a new pet, you aren’t alone. In 2008, Lollypop adopted 7,093 to families in the area. If you’re considering a pet, Lollypop Farm offers support for pet owners in the form of behavior and training classes.

Lollypop Farm also offers Pet-Assisted Therapy, including the R.E.A.D. (Reading Education Assistance Dogs), where children can practice their skills by reading out loud to a therapy dog. Additionally, they offer programs for Brownies and Junior Girl Scouts to earn their Animal Try-It and Pet Care Badges. More information on all of Lollypop’s programs, including times and sign-up processes, is available at www.lollypop.org
