East Rochester Public Library

Please check the library website for programs and storytimes.

Located on the first floor, the Children’s Room offers a variety of reading and listening materials for your child, from birth through the middle grades.

Children’s ebooks, digital audio books, non-fiction resources, and streaming video are available through the MCLS Overdrive catalog.   All you need is a MCLS library card to access free digital content.

The East Rochester children’s section has a large selection of reading and audio/visual materials for your child at every stage of his or her life.

There is always a library staff member on hand eager to help you pick out the perfect book for your child.  The library also provides story times, a Summer Reading program, and fun, educational events for your child all year round.

Story time is a great way to support your child’s literacy development, inspire a love of reading, and meet other families from the area.  Each story time and event is designed for a specific age group, but younger and older siblings are always welcome.  Children under 5 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver.   All programs are free of charge.
