The Victor Farmington Library is kicking off summer vacation with a daylong celebration of books and reading! On Thursday, 6/27, from 9 am to 6:30 pm, twenty-eight special readers will take turns reading their favorite books for 20 minutes each in a one-of-a-kind read-aloud marathon. They’ll read everything from children’s books to Common Sense by Thomas Paine. Some will even wear costumes and sing or dance. Learn about the readers and their selections at victorfarmingtonlibrary.org/Readathon2024
Craft activities for children, free cookies provided by the Friends of the Victor Farmington Library, a selfie wall, and two celebrity readers are part of the fun. Watch for visits from the Readathon Bookworm and pick up your Summer Reading challenges while you’re here. Come to cheer on your favorite reader, or stay for the whole day.
Hope to see you on the 27th!
