Meet our Cayuga ducklings!
Make your way out to Jones Farmhouse to meet our newest feathered friends – a flock of Cayuga Ducklings! As they grow, they this heirloom duck variety will make a home at the historic farmstead. Plus, you’ll find Sliver Spangled Hamburg chicks on the Early Settlement! Chat with our historic farmers about their care and personalities, and see the newest additions to the farmyard frolicking.
Cake and Donations
Bring a small gift for our friends on the farm yard to help us kick off the spring season, and enjoy a piece of Duckling Day cake (limited to the first 100 visitors).
Donations we’ll be gathering in the Admissions Tunnel include:
Bird Seed (generic wild birdseed or sunflower for our wild feathered friends at the Nature Center – unopened, please)

After you meet our new feathered friends in the Historic Village, explore the Early Settlement to meet a variety of other farmyard animals, compete against your friends and family in an egg run on the Village Square, shop chicken and duck-themed merchandise in the Flint Hill Store, see which historic recipes are utilizing farm fresh eggs in our historic kitchens, and more!
